I shut down JadeEnigma today because I heard that colleges look up your name sometimes and look at your weblogs to see what type of person you are. It could make or break your acceptance into colleges. I'm not saying I had drunken pictures of myself or inappropriate messages... I mean... seriously? Yea whatever...

Life goes on.

That site was for a my pre-pubescent self anyway. Depressed ramblings of a 13 year old with weird hormones.

Feeling:

My beloved VAIO is busted for some reason. =[

So now I'm using my old eMachine, because I can't survive without internet or computers for more than three days without going absolutely bonkers.

I'm just looking at old junk and aim conversations on this computer... It really brings back memories of older days... *sigh* I'm not really friends with the same people anymore... A whole year has changed a lot. I mean, yea, I notice that I still mostly talk to Esther, Sean, Jason, Eileen... But like... I don't talk to a lot of other people anymore. Kinda strange to be reading these old AIM convos. It feels like I'm violating someone else's privacy. My situation is so different that I'm kinda feeling embarassed reading about some of the things I felt or the way I acted. It all seems surreal, you know?

Like, you think that at a current place in time, there could be nothing better or nothing worse feeling that what you're feeling at that precise moment. You know? And when you look back on it with hindsight, you think of things you would have done or how differently you feel about it now. It's kinda scary getting old because you have the ability to look back and think of all the things that you have done, how different you are, what you expected, where you actually are now, what you've tried to bury, and what you've almost forgotten. It's daunting.

And I am a bit nuts for keeping so many old things, but they're memories of things that I like to remember. I can't help that.

I haven't had a long, thinking entry in a while anyway. Sometimes, I look back at my old xanga entries. I don't delete them or block them off or whatever. I still have them. This xanga is really old. Probably a little younger than Esther's. It's a few days over 3 years old. The entries vary a lot. I used to be one depressed, little kid. And boy did I like different boys! It's strange. I feel really different. Like before... I kinda felt flittery, I guess. More social. Now, I'm just... content. Not a restless content, but a content that makes me really happy.

I'm glad I still have some of the same friends. Those are the ones that really matter. I'm not flitting from one guy to the next. (Let's hope not. ) I'm not killing myself to have great grades, 'cuz... It's just too much stress. I'm driving... I'm dreaming... I'm trying out new things.... Changing.

I wasn't expecting to be here. I had great friends back then that I thought I would keep forever, but it turns out, I've only kept MOST of them. (That's right, you're still ~~stuck~~ with me.) I thought... a lot of things, but everything's different.

I'm kinda scared about junior year. Holy fuck, I'm a junior. When I was in 8th grade, I thought this whole highschool thing was far off... As a freshman I had two more years to worry about before becoming a junor or a senior or even leaving J.P.S. Now... I duno... It seems things are happening faster than I can watch or than I would like it to happen. I'm already a JUNIOR! Holy CRAP! Feels like yesterday, I was still mooning over ~~Jaw Ray~~ The Guy Formerly Known As Jaw Ray. See! Big changes!

All I know is that... things will keep changing whether I want them to or not. Relationships change... Feelings change. Situations change. Thoughts change. Morals change. Priorites change.

But.... Change isn't a bad thing... It's exhilarating and keeps you off your toes.

Finished my six hours. Permit's coming by Friday (Monday at the latest). Stay off the road, BITCHES!

Went to NY with Jason and Eileen. We went to the Met, which was really cool. =] Mummies are CREEPY!

There's this Korean restuarant in Chinatown, right? And it's REALLY good and CHEAP (for Korean food). I brought Jason and Eileen there and they LOVED IT. So we ate there for lunch AND dinner.

Damnit! Why can't there be great Korean food in Edison, huh???? *sniffles* I have a craving.... for....
